The New Testament canon of the Nestorian, or Syrian Church of the East relies on the Septuagint for its old testament canon so we see the similarities to the Orthodox and Roman canons. The Curch of the East split with the rest of the Christian Church in 431 after the Council of Ephesus and it recognizes only 22 books in its New Testament Canon, excluding 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, Jude and Revelation.
